About Brian

Brian started playing golf at Mannan Castle Golf Club from a young age. He has been a member for more than 2 decades, first joining at 12 years of age.

Brian studied at Myerscough College and obtained a bachelors degree in Sports Science. He played on the golf team for 3 years and won a Div 1 title. Upon completing his degree he immediately turned professional to play mini tour circuits and begin my coaching journey. After 3 enjoyable and insightful years of playing, I turned my focus and attention to my lifelong passion and dream of getting into the teaching and coaching industry.

When the opportunity came to become Head Professional at Beaverstown Golf Club, it was the perfect opportunity to share my knowledge with other Keen golfers of all ability levels. Throughout my career, I have been privileged to work with esteemed coaches and mentors who have helped shape my technique and strategy. Their guidance, coupled with my unwavering dedication, has allowed me to refine my skills and achieve success in various professional capacities. These experiences helped me derive my own swing preferences of continued learning, collaboration and great work ethic being key to higher performance levels.

At Sweenpro Golf, my mission is to ‘Raise the Par’ and inspire the golfing community. Through personalised coaching sessions, I aim to provide a comprehensive and enjoyable learning experience for golfers of all levels, from beginners to Elite players.
